How to water your lawn

You can do better than just splashing the grass with water from a hose.

Get yourself a lawn sprayer like these (plain Google search, no affiliate kick-back).

Then mix some grass gravy in a 20 gallon sprayer.  (Don’t worry.  You won’t be lugging around 20 gallons of fertilizing stew.  The sprayer holds about 4 liquid cups.  It mixes with 20 gallons of flowing water when connected to a hose.)

  • 1 cup lemon-scented soap (dish soap will do)
  • 1 beer
  • 1/4 cup brown Listerine
  • 1/4 cup Murphy oil soap
  • 1/4 cup ammonia
  • 1 can of Coke

My source for this home remedy/folk wisdom recipe is a good friend.  Help us verify it scientifically.  The Listerine and oil soap are supposed to kill fungus.  The Coke helps with thatch.
