Family Proprietary Secrets Revealed: Chicken Tortilla Casserole Recipe

Due to high demand, we are revealing a Willy-Wonka level secret. Don’t tell Slugworth.

Gather ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts (cook in foil 1 hour at 400F)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can green chili
  • 8 to 12 tortillas snipped into small pieces
  • 1 pound grated sharp cheese

Butter a 9×13″ pan. Pour a little chicken liquid in bottom of the pan. Layer bottom with half of the tortillas. Pour half of the chicken-soup-chili mixture over it. Add a layer from half the cheese. Repeat layers: tortillas, chicken-soup-chili mix, cheese.

Refrigerate 24 hours or just overnight.

Cook at 350F for 45 minutes covered then 30 minutes uncovered.

Serves eight.
